MONROVIA – The Grand Jury of Montserrado County has indicted Bill Jallah for the alleged murder of Princess Zuo Wesseh.
According to the indictment, Jallah is charged with Murder, Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, and Aggravated Assault. Authorities say he fatally stabbed Princess Wesseh with a knife on December 21, 2024, in the Duport Road area.
Investigators say the knife used in the attack was found at the scene and Jallah admitted to the act during questioning. The indictment states he acted with malice and intent, hiding the weapon under his clothes before confronting the victim.
Earlier that day, Jallah reportedly visited the victim’s workplace twice and disturbed her, prompting her to alert his father, William Jallah.

The case was scheduled for hearing on Thursday, May 15, 2025, but defense lawyers requested a continuance to review case files.
It can be recalled Bill Jallah, the man accused of the gruesome murder of his ex-girlfriend, Princess Zuo, and the assault of his sister, Kormassa Jallah, was forwarded to court in later 2024, following multiple charges brought against him, by the Liberia National Police.
The charges included murder, aggravated assault, and criminal attempt to commit murder, stemming from a violent incident that unfolded on Saturday, December 21, at a local entertainment center in Duport Road, Paynesville.
The incident which left the country reeling, began as an attempt by Jallah to reconcile with Princess. However, her refusal reportedly triggered a violent outburst.
Eyewitnesses said that Jallah first allegedly attacked his sister, stabbing her in the arm, before launching a brutal assault on Princess.

Princess reportedly suffered multiple stab wounds to her abdomen, neck, stomach, and back and later succumbed to her injuries shortly after the attack, despite efforts by bystanders to save her.
He was taken to the Liberia National Police Headquarters in Monrovia for investigation and later charged, under sections 14.1 and 14.20 of the Liberia Penal Code, with murder and aggravated assault as his primary offenses.
According to the Liberia National Police, the evidence collected during the investigation, including eyewitnesses’ testimonies point to Jallah’s actions.
The nature of the crime sparked national outrage with many Liberians demanding swift justice.
Meanwhile, Kormassa Jallah, who survived the assault, testimony played a crucial role in the prosecution’s case against her brother.
