Monrovia, Liberia – The National Port Authority (NPA) has marked a historic milestone with the dedication of its first-ever ambulance to serve both NPA employees and the broader Freeport community. The ceremony was led by NPA Managing Director Sekou A. M. Dukuly.
Before the dedication, Dukuly toured the recently renovated port clinic and reviewed medical supplies now available through NPA support. The clinic currently treats an estimated sixty patients daily.

Head Nurse Tenneh Kota lauded the NPA management for its continued commitment to staff healthcare, noting the positive impact of recent improvements.
In his remarks, Dukuly highlighted President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s broader health agenda and pledged the NPA’s full support in strengthening healthcare infrastructure. He expressed pride in achieving the ambulance milestone under his leadership and revealed plans to acquire a second unit to extend service reach to neighboring communities.
This development underscores the NPA’s commitment to the welfare of its staff and the surrounding population.
