
MONROVIA – The Managing Director of the National Port Authority (NPA), Mr. Sekou A. M. Dukuly, delivered an inspiring keynote address at the 9th senior high graduation ceremony of Seku Ibrahim Sheriff Elementary, Junior & Senior High School on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
In his address, Dukuly commended the graduating Class of 2025 for their dedication, resilience, and hard work throughout their academic journey. He reminded students that graduation is not the end but the beginning of a new chapter filled with responsibility, opportunity, and service to the nation.

Drawing on lessons from the Qur’an, Dukuly emphasized the values of discipline, integrity, and service as essential foundations for personal and national development. He encouraged the graduates to actively shape Liberia’s future by pursuing careers as doctors, engineers, educators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and innovators who will contribute meaningfully to the country’s growth.
The NPA boss also acknowledged the critical role of parents, guardians, and teachers in nurturing the next generation of leaders, praising their dedication and sacrifices. He further lauded Seku Ibrahim Sheriff Islamic High School for its commitment to academic excellence, fairness, compassion, and the steadfast promotion of Islamic principles.

Dukuly urged graduates to continue seeking knowledge, embrace failure as a stepping stone to success, and believe in their potential to make a difference. “Liberia is your country,” he said. “You have a responsibility to use your talents, discipline, and commitment to build a better future for all.”
Concluding his address, Hon. Dukuly inspired the students to “think big, act boldly, and write your names in the book of history as the generation that turned potential into prosperity.” He reminded them to trust in Allah’s plan and remain committed to the advancement of Liberia. The keynote left the graduating class with a renewed sense of purpose, pride, and determination as they embark on the next phase of their lives beyond high school.
