
EXECUTIVE MANSION, MONROVIA – As part of the official program marking Liberia’s 178th Independence Day,President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., today honored a number of distinguished statesmen and women during the National Investiture Ceremony held at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, Monrovia.

The dignified event brought together senior government officials, members of the Diplomatic Corps, traditional leaders, civil society representatives, and relatives and friends of the honorees. The ceremony celebrated individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the peace, progress, and development of Liberia across various sectors of national life.
President Boakai, serving as Grand Master of the Orders of Distinction, conferred national honors and distinctions upon deserving Liberians and foreign nationals in recognition of their selfless service, unwavering patriotism, and tireless dedication to the betterment of the nation.
In his remarks, President Boakai noted that honoring citizens who have served the country with distinction is not only a celebration of individual achievement but a reaffirmation of Liberia’s values of integrity, sacrifice, and public service.
The honorees represented a wide range of fields including governance, education, health, entrepreneurship, culture, and diplomacy. Their recognition, the President emphasized, is a call to all Liberians to rise to the challenge of building a more united, inclusive, and prosperous Liberia.
