
The Board of Trustees of the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) has announced the reappointment for a second term of Reverend Alvin E. Attah as President of the University.
In a report carried by the USA-based Christian Recorder, a journal that is associated with the AME Church, the trustees chairperson, Bishop Paul J. M. Kawimbe, pointed out “Attah’s exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment are significantly propelling the objectives of our university.”
The statement added, “We are convinced that his religious depth, academic honesty and education innovation continue to instill confidence in his ability to lead AME University to the next level of growth and impact.”
Reverend Attah’s first term was occasioned by increased enrollment, improved faculty growth and strategic partnerships.
Under his watch, AMEU has grown tremendously into a leading higher institution of learning in Liberia.
