
Fish Town, River Gee County — The River Gee County Health Team (CHT) held its Quarter One Data Review Meeting on Thursday, May 15, in Fish Town.
The session convened county supervisors, implementing partners, and senior health officials to evaluate service delivery performance using routine health data collected from January to March 2025.
The forum aimed to assess progress, address operational challenges, and outline strategic actions for improved health outcomes.

The meeting featured a comprehensive presentation by the County Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, who analyzed key health indicators across priority areas such as maternal and child health, malaria, immunization, HIV/AIDS, and outpatient services.
The data revealed both achievements and gaps, prompting participants to engage in discussions on human resource limitations, digital reporting tools, and the need for targeted training.

Program supervisors shared plans to address these concerns, with emphasis on mentoring, data quality audits, and inter-program collaboration.
In her closing remarks, the County Health Officer Dr. Masuah T. Kokro, praised the dedication of the health workforce and the contributions of the M&E team.
She urged all stakeholders to maintain a data-driven approach in their operations and reaffirmed the CHT’s commitment to accountability and evidence-based decision-making.
