Small Town FC staged a dramatic late comeback to secure a 1–1 draw against Shaita Angels in an entertaining contest.
Shaita Angels took the lead through striker Maitta Morris, who calmly converted to put her side ahead as they controlled much of the second half. However, Small Town FC refused to give up, pressing for an equalizer in the closing minutes.
Their persistence paid off in the 89th minute when defender Blessing Monweh rose to the occasion, scoring a crucial goal to level the score and rescue a point for her team.
Both sides eventually settled for a share of the spoils, with the thrilling encounter ending 1–1.
