Small Town delivered a confident performance to defeat LEAD 3–1 in their ongoing Orange Cup encounter at the SKD Practice Pitch, sending a clear message to the rest of the competition.
From the opening whistle, Small Town looked sharper and more organized, controlling possession and pressing LEAD high up the pitch.
Their attacking intent paid off as Lydia Joshua caused constant problems with her pace and movement, while Divine Mgboji led the line with authority and composure in front of goal.
In midfield, Rachel Carlos dictated the tempo of the game, linking defense and attack seamlessly and ensuring Small Town maintained control for long stretches of the match. Despite LEAD’s efforts to respond, Small Town remained disciplined and clinical, sealing a deserved 3–1 victory and strengthening their position in the Orange Cup as the tournament continues.
