
GBARNGA, BONG COUNTY – CB Dunbar Maternity Hospital has reported a suspected case of Mpox, according to the facility’s Medical Director, Dr. Moses Beyan.
The hospital is taking all necessary precautions and has implemented protocols to manage the situation effectively.
Dr. Beyan stated that the patient exhibited symptoms consistent with Mpox and tests have been ordered to confirm the diagnosis.
In response to this suspected case, the hospital is also collaborating with public health officials to ensure proper monitoring and containment measures are in place.
Dr. Beyan emphasized the importance of public awareness and advised individuals to remain vigilant for any symptoms associated with Mpox.
