James Tarpeh made a dream start to his Nimba County journey, finding the back of the net in a convincing 3–0 victory over Sinoe County in the National County Sports Meet.
The former Lofa County standout opened the scoring against his county of birth, setting the tone for a dominant performance by Nimba as they cruised to a comfortable win.
Speaking after the match, Tarpeh expressed delight at representing Nimba County this season, describing it as a proud moment in his career.
“Being part of the Nimba County team is a big boost for me,” Tarpeh said. “Nimba is one of the biggest counties in this competition, and wearing this jersey is something any player would be proud of.”
