MONROVIA – Anthony Cole, the former Land Administrator for Zena Hill estate, has raised alarming accusations against Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) John Kermu, alleging that Kermu has made terroristic threats against him amid an ongoing land dispute.
In an interview with Cable News over the weekend at his residence, Cole asserted that Kermu threatened his life over a contentious piece of land belonging to the Zena family.
The incident reportedly occurred in front of witnesses at a local car wash, where Cole claims Kermu’s aggressive demeanor was evident.
“This situation reflects a disturbing lack of understanding of the law by someone who is supposed to enforce it,” Cole stated, emphasizing that this is not the first time he has faced threats regarding the property.
He previously reported threats from other individuals occupying the land, who had also allegedly threatened his life.
Cole is now calling on the National Government to intervene, urging swift action to ensure justice for the legitimate owners of the Zena Hill estate. “My life is in danger; human lives matter,” he insisted.
In response to the accusations, ACP John Kermu stated that he is currently consulting with his legal team to determine his next steps.
He refrained from discussing the matter in detail, citing the legal implications and the need to handle the situation appropriately. “It’s about my character; I will address this when I am ready,” he remarked.
As the land dispute intensifies, concerns grow regarding the safety of those involved and the integrity of legal proceedings surrounding the Zena Hill estate. The community watches closely as the situation develops, hoping for a resolution that respects the rights of all parties involved.
