Family members report that Momo was rushed to the John F. Kennedy (JFK) Medical Center in Monrovia for emergency treatment. Sadly, his passing occurred as arrangements were being made to transfer him to Ghana for advanced medical care.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 13-year-old boy, identified as Saah Johnson Jr., was involved in the incident. Witnesses say the shooting occurred during a tense moment when Johnson’s younger sister sought Momo’s help. In the ensuing confrontation, a single-barrel firearm was allegedly discharged, tragically striking Momo in the head.
