
World Girls FC has signaled its intent to challenge for top honors in the upcoming Upper Women’s League with the signing of 12 new players, blending international pedigree with rising local talent.
The club confirmed that six of the additions are foreign recruits carefully chosen to strengthen critical positions.
Among them are two creative midfielders from Togo and Ghana, three proven goal scorers from Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and a highly rated Ghanaian goalkeeper.
These overseas signings have already joined six standout Liberian players in training, creating a roster the club believes can deliver a breakthrough season.
Team officials say the mix of global experience and homegrown energy is designed to bring balance and attacking power to the side.
Supporters will get their first formal look at the revamped squad on September 22 during an unveiling ceremony at the Mamba Point Hotel in Monrovia.
The event will present the full team and outline World Girls FC’s ambitions for the new campaign an occasion expected to spark excitement across the Liberian women’s football community.
