In a deeply emotional moment, Liberia’s youngest female amputee footballer, Grace Robert, was moved to tears on Saturday, March 28, 2026, after receiving two pairs of brand-new football boots an inspiring gesture that speaks volumes of hope, resilience, and belief in her journey.
The donation, made by Donald Richards and Trokon Hney of the Chicken Soup Factory United Football Academy, goes beyond simple generosity. It serves as a powerful reminder that Grace is not alone in her pursuit of greatness in football.
During the presentation at the Samuel K. Doe Sports Complex, Calvin Gee handed over the boots as Grace expressed heartfelt gratitude. Fighting back tears, she shared how much the support means to her and how it strengthens her determination to keep pushing forward.
A proud player of the Liberia Female Amputee National Team, Grace continues to inspire many with her courage and passion. What may seem like a small gift carries a much greater impact fueling her dreams and reminding her of the strong support system behind her.
As she prepares to step onto the pitch again, Grace carries more than just new boots she carries hope, belief, and the encouragement of many who are rooting for her success.
