“I didn’t live the conflict myself, but my parents did, not knowing what would happen next,” Davies recalled. “When we were resettled to Canada with the support from the UNHCR, everything changed. We found safety, we had a future.” Today, Davies stands among football’s elite.
After emerging as a teenage sensation with Major League Soccer side Vancouver Whitecaps, he secured a high-profile transfer to German powerhouse Bayern Munich, where he has won multiple Bundesliga titles, domestic cups, and the UEFA Champions League.
