
MONROVIA – In a significant move aimed at fostering entrepreneurship among the youth of Liberia, businessman and entertainer Mahamadou Saah Dabor, better known as Baba 2Switt, has announced a generous pledge of US$50,000. The initiative seeks to support young individuals eager to launch their own businesses and thrive in their communities.
During a Facebook Live session with his fans, Baba 2Switt expressed his commitment to providing opportunities for the youth, stating, “I know you’ve been waiting for this wonderful and important moment and now you have it. We want to make sure and ensure you get the best out of life.” He emphasized that the support aims to empower young people, particularly in these challenging times.
Baba 2Switt, who is also the CEO of the Magic Group of Companies, highlighted that the funding for this initiative comes from his own resources, asserting that there is no foreign backing. “All of these we are doing for you come from our hard labor and sweat,” he commented, underlining his dedication to local entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency.
Rejecting illicit means of making money, Baba 2Switt articulated his belief that crime and shortcuts are a “lazy mentality.” His message resonated with many as he encouraged young people to pursue legal, sustainable business avenues.

To kickstart the initiative, Baba 2Switt announced that the first US$10,000 will be distributed promptly. During the live session, he unveiled plans to provide an immediate award of US$1,000 to one deserving young entrepreneur. The remaining US$9,000 will be allocated to selected business proposals submitted by participants at the Money Empire Park, located at Du-port Road Junction, the following Wednesday.
Baba 2Switt assured his audience that the selection process for the business proposals will be transparent, with a careful evaluation of each plan’s viability. He expressed his eagerness to collaborate with the chosen individuals, empowering them to lift others out of poverty.
This initiative marks a proactive step by Baba 2Switt in contributing to Liberia’s economic growth and inspiring the next generation of leaders within the community.
