Gardnesville Township came alive as fans, spectators, and sports lovers filled the Tusa Field Sports Pitch to witness the thrilling Bettomax Champions Cup semifinal between Heaven Eleven and Global Pharma.

Global Pharma’s star striker Darius Garmondeh gave his side the lead in the 33rd minute, finishing the first half 1-0 in their favor.

 But the second half saw Heaven Eleven fighting back with determination. Defender Joe Bloe rose to the occasion, scoring the equalizer to keep his team’s grand final hopes alive, forcing the game into a 1-1 draw at full time.

The tense clash was decided in a dramatic penalty shootout, where Heaven Eleven held their nerve to edge Global Pharma 6-5.

The victory left Global Pharma and their supporters heartbroken as Heaven Eleven celebrated their ticket to the grand final.

Despite the defeat, Darius Garmondeh finished the tournament with three goals before bowing out at the semifinal stage.

The Bettomax Champions Cup continues to deliver excitement, with the next semifinal showdown between Bea Mountain and Freeport FC scheduled for 4:00 PM.
