The British Embassy in Liberia, led by Head of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires Simon Tooth, has reaffirmed its commitment to women’s football by extending support to the Talent Development Scheme (TDS) U-12 and U-15 Girls Program.

As part of the initiative, the embassy donated size-4 footballs aimed at strengthening grassroots development and inspiring the next generation of female footballers across the country. The gesture is expected to play a key role in nurturing young talents and creating opportunities for future champions.

The items were officially received at the Bluefield on March 24 by Doco Wesseh, alongside FIFA Talent Coach Ammy Ninje and U-15 Girls Head Coach Kebbeh Lamine.

The continued partnership highlights the British Embassy’s dedication to empowering young girls through football and supporting the growth of the women’s game in Liberia.
