MONROVIA – The Unity Party has announced a nationwide fundraising drive for Dec. 6, 2025, aimed at strengthening the party’s infrastructure through the construction of a new national headquarters and the establishment of county headquarters across Liberia.
Robert Flomo Womba, chairman of the Unity Party Legislative Caucus and representative for Bong County Electoral District #4, said the initiative will rely on coordinated mobilization by lawmakers and local structures to rally supporters and resources at the county level.

“In the spirit of unity, it is essential that we rally our constituents and engage them in this significant fundraising endeavor,” Womba said. “Our upcoming National Fundraising event represents a crucial opportunity to strengthen our grassroots presence, enhance our organizational structure, and ensure the viability of the Unity Party.”
Womba thanked caucus members for their commitment to the party’s growth and urged each lawmaker to demonstrate leadership in their counties as preparations intensify. The campaign, he said, will encourage all members to play a proactive role in mobilizing resources and engaging supporters at the grassroots.
In a bid to inspire participation across the country, Womba announced that the top three counties that raise the highest amounts during the drive will receive special recognition. “This healthy spirit of competition will not only motivate fundraising efforts but also foster greater unity among our supporters,” he said.

The Unity Party framed the initiative as central to cementing its presence nationwide and advancing its vision and values. Womba called on members and supporters to mark Dec. 6 as a day of solidarity and generosity for the party.
“Together, we can achieve great things and make significant strides toward a brighter future for the Unity Party and our beloved country,” he said.
The party is inviting supporters to participate and contribute to what it described as a landmark effort to reinforce its grassroots infrastructure and sustain its relevance in Liberia’s political landscape.
