
MONROVIA — The Director General of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), Mr. Anthony K. Souh, officially received Pastor Jimmy Phillips and his delegation from the African Union Trading Company Inc. at the LDEA headquarters. The visit marked a significant step forward in a collaborative effort to combat drug-related offences and promote transparency and accountability within the ranks of the Agency.
In a show of support for the LDEA’s ongoing efforts to maintain integrity and enhance operational standards, the African Union Trading Company Inc. donated essential testing equipment to the Agency. The donation included Breath Analyzers/Alcohol Test Kits, which will be instrumental in routine officer evaluations and field operations.

Director Souh expressed his gratitude for the timely and thoughtful contribution, emphasizing the importance of inter-agency and community partnerships in achieving national security goals. “We welcome this partnership and commend Pastor Jimmy Phillips and his team for their support,” said Director Souh. The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency remains committed to professionalism, and these test kits will serve as a valuable resource in reinforcing discipline, accountability, and public trust in our operations.

Pastor Phillips reaffirmed his organization’s dedication to supporting Liberia’s law enforcement institutions in the fight against drugs and substance abuse, highlighting the critical role of faith-based and civil society organizations in national development.
