Jonathan Freeman, a 17-year-old Liberian forward, has officially signed with FK Željezničar Sarajevo.
The club announced his arrival alongside 20-year-old American forward Santiago Garcia.

Both players have committed to one-year contracts with automatic extension options.
Freeman has been a standout talent in Liberia’s First Division League, where he played every minute of the 2024–25 season, scoring 20 goals and providing 13 assists for Discoveries FC.

He also serves as the captain of Liberia’s U-20 national team and received a call-up to the senior national team in March 2024.
His signing is part of Željezničar’s strategy to strengthen their attacking options for the upcoming season.
Freeman and Garcia have joined the team for a training camp in Međugorje as they prepare for the season ahead.
