The project, funded by the British Embassy, was commissioned on Saturday, March 14, and is aimed at improving facilities for girls involved in football by providing a safe and comfortable environment for training and match preparation.

Speaking during the dedication ceremony, British Head of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires Simon Tooth praised the partnership with the LFA and reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting initiatives that empower young Liberian girls through sports.

He noted that the refurbished changing rooms will offer a dignified and private space for female players, including development and national team athletes, as they prepare for training and competition.
