LFA New Executive Committee Members

The newly elected Executive Committee (EXCO) of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) convened its first official meeting on Wednesday, May 27, marking the start of a new four-year administration aimed at advancing the growth and development of football across Liberia.

The meeting was chaired by LFA President Mustapha I. Raji, who formally confirmed the leadership structure of the association. Sekou W. Konneh will continue to serve as First Vice President, while Saye-Taayor Adolphus Dolo and Jodie M. Reid-Seton will serve as Second and Third Vice Presidents, respectively.

As part of efforts to strengthen governance and enhance the administration of the game, the Executive Committee approved appointments to several standing and ad hoc committees that will support the implementation of the association’s programs and policies during the new term.

  • Women’s Football Committee – Jodie M. Reid-Seton (Chairperson)
  • Competitions Committee – Tickly D. Monkoney Jr. (Chairman)
  • Media Committee – Pawala Janyan (Chairman)
  • Security Committee – Senator Momo T. Cyrus (Chairman)
  • Ticketing Committee – Christian Weah Sr. (Chairman)
  • Legal Committee – Cllr. K. Jlayteh Sayor (Chairman)
  • Grassroots Football Committee – Elvis H. Sirleaf (Chairman)
  • Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee – Anthony Z. Denuika (Chairman)
  • Sub-Association Committee – Saye-Taayor Adolphus Dolo (Chairman)
  • Technical and Education Committee – Sekou W. Konneh (Chairman)
  • Medical Committee – Dr. John Mulbah (Chairman)

The LFA noted that the full composition of the various committees will be announced at a later date.

Beyond the appointments, the meeting also provided an opportunity for newly elected Executive Committee members to receive briefings on ongoing projects, operational matters, and recent developments within the association.

The session marked the first formal gathering of the newly constituted football leadership following the recent LFA elections, which returned President Raji to office for another term. The administration is expected to focus on strengthening football governance, infrastructure development, grassroots football, women’s football, youth development, and the overall competitiveness of Liberian football.

In his closing remarks, President Raji congratulated members on their election and called for unity, teamwork, and collective commitment in pursuing the association’s objectives.

He emphasized that collaboration among Executive Committee members, committees, sub-associations, clubs, and other stakeholders will be critical to strengthening football governance, expanding development programs, and improving the overall standard of the game throughout Liberia over the next four years.

The meeting represents the first major administrative step by the newly constituted leadership as it begins implementing its vision for the continued growth and modernization of Liberian football.
