MONROVIA, Liberia – James Tarpeh delivered a standout performance on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, as Masarco All Star battled to an entertaining 1-1 draw against Magaster All Star in the ongoing WHO OWN THE LAND 2026 Seventh Edition Police Academy-Based Tournament at the Police Academy Field.
The highly competitive encounter lived up to expectations, with both teams displaying determination, skill, and attacking intent before a lively crowd of football enthusiasts.

The first half ended in a goalless stalemate, as both sides created opportunities but failed to find the breakthrough. Strong defensive displays and disciplined goalkeeping kept the score level heading into the halftime interval.
Masarco All Star returned for the second half with renewed energy and greater attacking purpose. Their momentum received a significant boost when Magaster All Star were reduced to 10 men following a red-card incident, giving Masarco greater control of possession and territory.

The pressure eventually paid off when striker James Tarpeh produced a moment of brilliance to break the deadlock. His well-taken goal sent Masarco supporters into celebration and appeared to put his side firmly on course for victory.
Tarpeh’s performance throughout the match was instrumental, as he consistently troubled the opposition defense with his pace, movement, and attacking presence.

With the numerical advantage and a one-goal lead, Masarco All Star looked poised to secure all three points. However, Magaster All Star refused to surrender and continued searching for an equalizer despite being a man down.
Their persistence was rewarded in dramatic fashion when attacker William Koffa found the back of the net in the closing moments of the contest, rescuing a valuable point for his side and ensuring the match ended in a thrilling 1-1 draw.
The result leaves both teams with plenty of positives to build on as the tournament progresses.
