
BO WATERSIDE, Grand Cape Mount County – The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency-Ldea Grand Cape Mount County Detachment, has arrested two Sierra Leonean nationals in possession of a large quantity of illicit drugs valued at LD 845,500.00.
The arrest occurred on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at approximately 7:00 AM. The suspects, Mohammed Sesay (32) and Jenet Fallon (25), both residents of Weajue, were apprehended during a plain-view operation conducted by LDEA officers.
Upon arrest, officers confiscated 338.7 strips of Tapentadol/Tramadol, with an estimated street value of LD 845,500.00 (USD 4,455.26).
The suspects are currently undergoing investigation and will be forwarded to court in accordance with the new drug law, which classifies drug-related offenses as non-bailable under the Liberian law.
The LDEA urges the public to continue assisting in the fight against drug trafficking by reporting any suspicious activities.
