Liberian debutants Black Man Warrior bowed out of the CAF Confederation Cup on recently after a 4–1 loss to Coton FC of Benin at the Stade de Kégué in Lomé, Togo.
Following a hard-fought 0–0 draw in the first leg in Monrovia, the Warriors struggled to match Coton FC’s tempo in the return fixture.

The Beninese side struck twice before halftime and added two more goals after the break to secure a comfortable passage to the next round.
A late consolation goal spared Black Man Warrior a shutout, but it wasn’t enough to keep their continental dreams alive.
Head coach Sam Chebli can still take positives from the club’s maiden appearance on the African stage, which offered his squad a valuable lesson in the pace and physicality of top-level competition.
