–Association Says Registration Will Ensure Coaches Are Officially Verified and Recognized in FIFA’s Global Database
MONROVIA – The Liberia Football Coaches Association (LIFOCA) has called on all licensed football coaches across the country to complete their registration under the FIFA Connect System, describing the exercise as an important step toward strengthening the professional credentials of Liberian coaches.
According to LIFOCA, all coaches holding CAF/FIFA A, B, C, and D coaching licenses are required to submit the necessary documentation to facilitate their inclusion in FIFA’s global football database.
The association said each coach must provide a recent passport-size photograph, a valid passport or national identification card, a medical certificate, and a copy of their coaching certificate as part of the registration process.
LIFOCA has instructed coaches to submit all required documents via WhatsApp to the Liberia Football Association’s (LFA) Educational Officer at 0775-527-667.
The association explained that the FIFA Connect registration exercise is intended to verify the credentials of licensed coaches and ensure that their qualifications are officially recognized within FIFA’s centralized football information system.
According to LIFOCA, successful registration will help maintain an accurate database of qualified coaches in Liberia while supporting the country’s efforts to align with FIFA’s standards for coach licensing, certification, and football development.
The association further encouraged all eligible coaches to complete the registration process promptly to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure their coaching profiles are properly validated.
LIFOCA emphasized that timely registration will enhance the visibility and recognition of Liberian coaches within the international football community and contribute to the continued professionalization of football coaching in the country.
