MONROVIA – The Liberia Football Association has officially appointed Belgian-Moroccan tactician Mohammed Adil Erradi as the new head coach of Liberia’s senior national football team.
Coach Erradi’s appointment reportedly comes on the recommendation of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, signaling a major international endorsement as Liberia seeks to strengthen its football structure and improve competitiveness on the continental stage.
The newly appointed coach has already arrived in Liberia and is expected to immediately assume his duties following his official unveiling ceremony scheduled for Monday, May 18, 2026, at the LFA Headquarters in Congo Town.
Football stakeholders, supporters, government officials, and members of the sporting community are expected to attend the ceremony as the Liberia Football Association formally introduces Coach Erradi to the Liberian public and outlines expectations for his tenure.
The appointment comes at a crucial period for Liberian football as the country continues efforts to rebuild and reposition its national teams for stronger performances in regional and international competitions.
Observers say the selection of a coach with international exposure reflects the LFA’s growing ambition to modernize Liberia’s football system and attract broader technical expertise.
Coach Erradi is expected to work closely with the LFA leadership, local coaches, and players to strengthen tactical development, improve team performance, and help nurture emerging football talent across the country.
His arrival also follows renewed momentum within Liberian football after the successful conclusion of the LFA’s 30th Ordinary Congress, which resulted in the re-election of Mustapha I. Raji for a third and final term as LFA President.
Football fans across Liberia are now eagerly awaiting the official unveiling and the beginning of a new chapter for the national team under Coach Erradi’s leadership.
