
MONROVIA — Liberia’s U-20 Girls National Team has wrapped up its final training session ahead of the WAFU A U-20 Girls Tournament in Guinea-Bissau, signaling full readiness for their opening clash in the regional competition.
The young Lone Star side will begin its campaign against host nation Guinea-Bissau at 4:00 PM at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro, with expectations high for a strong start.
Challenging Group Fixtures Ahead
Liberia faces a demanding schedule in the tournament, with matches lined up against some of the region’s top youth teams:
- Matchday 1: Guinea-Bissau
- Matchday 2: Senegal
- Matchday 3: Mali
- Matchday 4: Gambia
Coaches and officials say the team is fully aware of the competitive nature of the fixtures but remains confident in its preparation and tactical discipline.
